Inconel 718 UNSN07718 is een door veroudering hardbare nikkel-chroom-columbium (niobium)-molybdeenlegering met hoge sterkte,
corrosiebestendigheid en goede fabricagekenmerken. Inconel 718 heeft hoge trek-, vloei- en kruip-breukeigenschappen bij hoge temperaturen en kan werken bij cryogene temperaturen tot 1200F (650°C).
